Choose words that do not need a moment

Stay with classic colours

Black, white, cream, soft grey and deep neutrals have lasted for generations. Brights and fashionable shades come and go. If you love a trend colour, use it sparingly, perhaps for lettering only, and keep the canvas neutral so it is easy to change the room around it.

Let texture age well
